Join the Challenge

Pages with Purpose is a fun, virtual summer reading challenge open to adults and children. Participants sign up through Zeffy, make a $20 donation, choose which We Are Creed program they are reading for, and earn points by completing reading-related activities throughout the summer.

We’ll be updating our prize list throughout the summer, so sign up now so you don’t lose points! Special prizes will be announced throughout the challenge thanks to our wonderful sponsors.

How It Works

  1. Sign up through Zeffy.
    Register for the challenge using the Zeffy link and make your $20 donation. Sign up on Zeffy
  2. Choose which program you’re reading for.
    During registration, select one We Are Creed program to support: Barb’s Buddies, Book Flood, Finding New Homes, Friends of Ellie, Good Night, Sleep Tight, In Amp’s Honor, or General Fund.
  3. Read, listen, and complete activities.
    Read books, listen to audiobooks, visit the library, read with a child, attend a book discussion or event, read nonfiction, and more.
  4. Record your progress each week.
    A Google Form will be sent where you’ll check off your accomplishments for the week.
  5. Earn prize entries.
    Each time you earn 25 points, another entry in your name will be added for a prize drawing.

Ways to Earn Points

Participants can earn points throughout the challenge by completing activities such as:

  • Read for 30 minutes
  • Finish a book
  • Listen to an audiobook
  • Read to someone
  • Visit the library
  • Post a “currently reading” photo
  • Read outside
  • Read a nonfiction book
  • Attend a book discussion or event, in-person or virtual
  • Donate an extra $5 for bonus points
Every 25 Points = Another Prize Entry The more you participate, the more chances you have to win.

Prizes & Sponsors

Special prizes will be announced throughout the challenge with support from our wonderful sponsors. Prize updates will be shared during the summer, so participants will want to keep reading, tracking, and earning entries.

Helpful Participant Reminders

Any format counts. Print books, e-books, audiobooks, library books, and read-alouds all count toward your progress.
Open to all ages. Adults and children are welcome to participate. Families can read together and track accomplishments weekly.
Track weekly. Submit your progress each week using the Google Form so your points and prize entries stay current.
Start early. Sign up early so you don’t miss opportunities to earn points and prize entries.
