Who We Are

We Are Creed was established to support literacy, because the love of reading will comfort, protect, and provide a future for readers.

We recognize the importance of this life skill and can tell stories about students that do not have books in their home. This is a tragedy in our minds. We hope each person gifted with a book will become a lifelong reader.

We officially became a 501(c)(3) in December 2018 so we are young…but mighty!

Quick facts: 

  • We are 100% volunteer.
  • Several of our board members are current and former teachers (2 elementary, 1 middle school, and 1 high school).
  • One of our board members taught another board member. Two serve on a school board together. Two played soccer together in high school.
